Welcome to London

Studying at our campus in the capital allows you to immerse yourself into the busy and diverse life London has to offer. London is rightly said to be the most diverse city in the world with its endless variety of art, fashion, culture, sports, restaurants and nightlife. It’s a city steeped in history where you’ll struggle to find a dull moment away from your studies. With a total student population of around 380,000 from over 100 countries, London offers an unrivalled multicultural experience and is one of the most popular student destinations in the world.

Spread over a total area of some 65,000 square feet, the ARU London campus comprises:

  • Five floors devoted to teaching with rooms ranging in size from those that can accommodate up to 200 students in a theatre style seating arrangement to others that are perfect for highly interactive tutorials.  All rooms boast the latest audio visual equipment and there’s air conditioning for when the weather gets warm;

  • Three computer labs;

  • A library housing copies of all the core text books and a range of relevant publications.  There are also desks and computers for quiet study;

  • 1 student common room and cafeteria

The proximity of both Chancery Lane (Central line) and Farringdon stations (Hammersmith & City, Circle, Metropolitan Underground lines and First Capital Connect rail services) make ARU London very easy to get to from all areas of London and outside the capital.

ARU London’s campus is located at 19 Charterhouse Street, London EC1N 6RA in the heart of central London. Click here for travel directions and a map.

Active Student Society

The ARU London Student Society regularly organises social events on and off campus.  We now have a highly active and successful football club – and well advanced plans for a cricket club. A number of private gyms and sports clubs are located nearby.

ARU London students are also entitled to join the University of London Union (ULU) as Associate Members and to participate in numerous ULU clubs and societies.
