Outside of lectures

Many private colleges are perceived as having less of a university feel about them. At  ARU London we try hard to ensure that that the non-academic side of your student experience is as equally rewarding as your time in class.

  • As ARU London is smaller than a traditional university, you will quickly make friends

  • Many students take advantage of the huge range of cafes, restaurants and eateries close by for lunchtime get togethers

  • Many also take advantage of our central London location to socialise once lectures finish for the day

  • The ARU London Student Society regularly organises parties, outings and events such as on campus talent contests

  • ARU London now has a highly successful football squad and fixtures are arranged with other London universities

  • There are plans for a cricket team

  • ARU London welcomes and supports ideas from students for additional societies

  • ARU London students are also entitled to join the University of London Union (ULU) as Associate Members and so to participate in numerous ULU clubs and societies.
